"The Human Species Thinks in Metaphors and Learns Through Stories." - Mary Catherine Bateson

These writings are a way to share my most vulnerable self

Of which I pray does not come across as judgmental, hurtful or narcissistic. Yes, some words may offend but I promise that is not my intention. I believe sharing our stories is powerful and important. If sharing my story has allowed just one person to feel accepted, understood or connected, then it was worth the unguardedness.

“We cultivate love when we allow our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known, and when we honor the spiritual connection that grows from that offering with trust, respect, kindness and affection." ― Brené Brown
